New to yoga? Start with the programme built for beginners: The Starters’ Club – find on the on demand library.
Common questions
That is the usual assumption, and it is why analytical people bounce off gentle yoga: told to lie still, the mind gets louder. Effort gives attention something difficult to hold. Stillness comes after it, in stage three – earned rather than instructed.
The library is where all on demand content lives. Inside the library you will find single classes and programmes. Programmes are a set of classes which main goal is to give you structure and accompany you throughout a given number of days to find progress, knowledge and to understand the evidence behind the practice – with theory and practice.
Yes. Programmes are included in the library.
The beauty of on demand is that you practice at your own pace. You follow a class but it’s always possible to select between challenging physical practices or mental / pranayama (breathwork) classes. Additionally, we have a special programme for beginners: The starters’ club: 15 to 25 minutes a day, building from breath and standing poses to your first yoga nidra. Every concept explained as you meet it: what ujjayi is for, why the gaze matters, what tapas actually means. Demanding enough to hold your attention, never so hard you can’t begin. By day thirty you have a practice you can repeat whenever needed.
Yes – and you should! Live membership includes full on-demand access. Besides, Live is premium access to Maria: corrections, modifications, and the accountability of a set time.
