Mauna Retreats
Step fully away
from the noise
Why a retreat
A weekly class quiets the mind.
A retreat resets it.
There are things a one-hour practice can’t reach. Patterns that only surface when you stop for long enough. A Mauna retreat is not a holiday with yoga, it’s an intentional pause.
“The answers you’re looking for won’t arrive while you’re racing. Stop. Learn to listen.”

Common questions
Yes. We also advise everybody to sign up for the on demand classes before the retreat so when you arrive it’s easier to follow along and it’s easier for the body. You will practice twice daily for 5 days and the classes are expected to be challenging. Start moving even before the week of the retreat.
We will make mats available for practitioners. You are also welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
A fusion between Ashtanga and Hatha yoga.
Yes. The goal of the retreat is to help you take a break, disconnect from external reality and connect inwards. We will do that using Yoga.
